Kip Koelsch is the author of two award-winning technothrillers, Wendall’s Lullaby and Delphys Rising, The Saga of the Cerulean Universe Trilogy (science fiction/space opera), TRINARY (a collection of three speculative fiction short stories), and The Peculiar Affliction of Thomas Wade Duncan (historical fiction with a witchy twist). Koelsch got his start writing “books” with crayons in Mrs. Cook’s second grade class in Leonardo, NJ. A one-time freelance magazine writer, he currently blogs about writing, critical thinking, outdoor adventure sports, paddling and his current fiction projects. Koelsch has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Media from Rutgers University in NJ and a master’s degree in Humanities and American Studies from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. A deep love for the environment, and the oceans in particular, started as a young boy--nurtured by The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau, National Geographic Magazine and the family's vacation trips to the beach at Anna Maria Island, Florida, and tent camping at Lake George, New York. Recently displaced by Hurricane Helene, Koelsch currently lives in Palm Harbor, Florida in his mother-in-law's bedroom with his wife and cats.
