Lamont Hendricks (1977) was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He grew up in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. He lived in various parts of North Carolina until he was twenty-nine years of age. Lamont moved to New York City in the winter of 2007. Lamont attended and graduated from Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus).Lamont discovered his passion for financial education and continues to study and apply the methods of this lifestyle daily. He worked in the Healthcare field for about three years. Hendricks also worked with New York City Transit Authority for ten years. Lamont has won many independent artist music awards, received plaques for satellite radio, recited poetry, and is also a motivational/inspirational speaker. This is the first of many books to be published by Mr. Hendricks. He has his sights set on educating and inspiring people. Lamont said "this is my life's work".
