Laurie Copmann is an elementary school principal in Idaho. She has worked with children for over 25 years. The Family Tree: The Night of the Storm is Laurie's debut book. Laurie has a M.A. in counseling and an M.A. in administration. She is working with grief groups across the country to utilize her book and swing activity in hopes of helping a child's healing process, after facing a loss. Laurie is a presenter, and continues to write stories to share with others.
