Lee J. Minter is a prolific writer of Horror and Suspense and occasionally Sci-Fi. He was raised up in Detroit and often uses various cities and locations in Michigan in his stories for realism and effect. He states he started writing stories at a young age. However, his mother being superstitious after seeing a novel that he had written unpublished titled “The Dark” suggested that he should get rid of the book because it will bring him “bad luck,” to which Minter states he regrettably complied. But the motivation to write and become a published author never left him, so he picked up several years ago where he had left off as a young man in his early teens and have published over nine titles to his credit to date. He also states that he not only finds writing to be therapeutic, but he enjoys the process of creating something from his imagination and seeing it come to life in words and prose. He resides in Henderson, Nevada, with his wife and their little child dog “Cody.” He loves and appreciates his fans and hopes that he can continue to bring them years of enjoyment and entertainment with his creative and innovative tales of the supernatural and beyond.
