Lenerd Louw holds a bachelors degree in commerce and law, an LLB and master’s degree in business administration. He is an advocate (barrister) and was the CEO and founder of two direct life insurance companies. He often took the traditional insurers and brokers head on in radio and TV debates and in print and digital media with his message of saving the consumer money by cutting out the middle man. He held various senior positions in the UK and South Africa, including Strategic Innovations Director, Marketing Director and Head and founder of the In-house Advertising Agency for the Group. As an innovative business leader he brought numerous well-known brands to the market. JUMP! is a memoir about Lenerd Louw's experiences including his playboy lifestyle in Cape Town whilst also being a CEO of an insurance company, the difficulty and confusion when a massive internal shift occurred in him, the decision to walk away from it all in 2012, going on a five year 35 countries outer journey all around the world whilst doing the tough deep inner journey at the same time. It includes his two-year period of celibacy at the start of his travels, his travels to fascinating places and his learnings at each place. It’s a story of personal expansion and awakening, of surrender, of trust and of transformation. His best selling award winning book JUMP! is also available at all the major bookstores in Southern Africa after being published by the leading publisher of memoirs. His journey continues but now with the passionate sharing of his learnings and experiences through writing, speaking, guiding and coaching. Between travelling he sometimes parks in Cape Town.
