At just 15 years old, rising star Lennon Stella, along with her real-life sister, 11-year-old Maisy, play the daughters of Rayna Jaymes on Nashville. Lennon and Maisy were cast on Nashville even before they catapulted to fame with their YouTube cover version of Robyn / Erato’s “Call Your Girlfriend”. They posted the video on May 30, 2012. Their transcendent harmonies immediately went viral, and today, their YouTube channel has over 72 million views are nearly 650,000 subscribers. Lennon & Maisy have appeared on “Good Morning America,” “The View,” and at The White House. In 2013, Lennon and Maisy were invited to perform at the CMA awards and present Taylor Swift with the Pinnacle Award. In early 2014, the girls recorded the song "Love" for a Coop Naturaplan TV commercial spot, resulting in the #1 place on the Swiss iTunes chart and #2 most downloaded song in Switzerland for three straight weeks. Just recently, “Love” went gold! Towards the end of 2014, they released a new version of their Christmas song, “Christmas Coming Home” which was iTunes Single of the Week and featured on the “Nashville” Cast Christmas Album. Lennon’s favorite subject at school is math, and she loves recording songs, fashion, traveling and doing anything creative and musical. Not only is she an accomplished singer, but also plays the ukulele, guitar and piano. Her 5’ 7 height and old soul make often have people saying that she seems much older than 15 years. Her musical influences are The Swell Season, John Mayer and the Civil Wars. Some of Lennon’s exciting moments have been performing for 18,000 people at We Day Minnesota and playing at LP Field in Nashville for nearly 70,000 fans at CMA Music Fest. She also attended NYC fashion week in February of 2015. Lennon & Maisy are grateful that their first acting job has enabled them to learn from their amazing co-stars, whom they count as friends. Born in Oshawa, Canada, Lennon now resides in Nashville and is excited to see what the future holds as she grows her musical and acting career.
