Leon Watts is a second generation captain rated to 100 ton master. He has over two decades as a SCUBA and Freediving Instructor and is an experienced mixed gas technical diver specializing is deep shipwreck research. His writing has appeared in national dive publications like Skin Diver Magazine. When not guiding fishing and diving excursions in the Gulf of Mexico, Leon is an adventure travel guide and has led multiple ascents of mountains all over the world. His experiences and his work with combat wounded veterans have been profiled in local and national publications and he has appeared a number of times on the nationally syndicated DAYTIME NBC, as an adventure consultant. He lives in Tampa Florida with his wife Kelly, and several cats.
