Liliana Shelbrook earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master of arts in education. She has had a career as a journalist and as a teacher, and she currently teaches writing at a major entertainment, arts, and media university in Central Florida. Her historical novel Lantern in the Mist is the first book in a dramatic trilogy set in the early twentieth century. She has written a series full of danger, adventure, and awakening passion. When Shelbrook is not writing historical fiction, she enjoys laughing with her dog, a rat terrier named Miss Eadie. She also spends time reading purely for pleasure, teaching, and riding her bright pink bike through her neighborhood.
