"Your writing will open doors for you. Your story will be the key." When Linda A. Hillman heard those sweet words from a Prophet, it was confirmation of the Word she'd received from the LORD. But, gripped by fear, she couldn't write that story. She decided to finish writing the other books she'd started--but couldn't seem to get them written either. No one who knew Linda would have ever thought she'd be an author...not even Linda. Too ashamed to read aloud at school because she stuttered and was tied-tongue, Linda threw herself into reading, letting her imagination soar as she read her beloved books. Linda grew up and became a pastor in San Francisco, California, but her dream of becoming an author was always on her mind. As an adult, her passion was to serve God's children, especially those who survived abuse and still suffered the aftereffects. Feeling their pain, Linda knew she had to tell their stories and write of their healing to help others in the same predicament, but she struggled to get the books written. GOD, ever gentle and persistent, sent another Prophet to remind her of HIS desire for her to write her story. Linda, just as Jacob had, wrestled with the LORD and finally gave in. Once she surrendered, she was able to complete the other books, publish them and move on to her story. In writing her story, Linda found the path to complete healing and a message of hope for others like her. Although she may have wrestled with writing books, Linda diligently built a strong resume to support her craft. In addition to her BA in Theology, AA in Visual Communication and AS in Biblical Counseling, she wrote: diaries, journals, articles for websites such as eHow.com and Examiner.com. She started several blogs, honing her craft with quality and consistency--shortly thereafter, her first book was published! Today, Linda is a prolific author who travels the world as a living testimony of GOD's grace, goodness and healing. She's learned that if you just say yes, HE will take care of the rest!
