Linda Maria Steele is the author of three books. Her first book, "Meet Me in My Cape Cod Kitchen" reflects anecdotes and recipes from her life on Cape Cod and spending time in her kitchen while cooking and baking for her family. Her second book is a poetry collection called, "Tending the Marsh." She wrote it after taking daily walks at Great Sippewissett Marsh in West Falmouth. The book is a combination of poetry and prose. The book follows a thoughtful and reflective narrative of a year of transition. Her most recent work was written during the pandemic when one of her popular writing classes was forced to cancel in person. The class which she created from her own creative interest and passions and offered in person and online since 2017 is called Finding the Writer Within. She loves turning people on to the gifts and magic that can come from writing our stories and developing a daily writing practice. She has used her own method of daily practice each morning for over 15 years. Ms. Steele earned her BA Degree from UCLA and her MA from University of Texas, Dallas. She has published numerous articles on a variety of topics from food, to nature, parenting and self care.
