Anyone who works within the funeral industry, will find themselves shouting at TV programs and films, and slamming books shut, for the inaccuracies displayed during funeral sequences. Coffins are shown on catafalques, facing the wrong way around, supposedly heavy coffins, are blatantly empty, and various other errors that have us reaching for the remote in despair. Having worked as an arranger, funeral operative, and Funeral Director, for several years, I decided to put my knowledge to good use, and write The Director's Cut. A thriller, based within the little known world of the funeral industry, with more than a few surprises along the way. The Director's Cut is my first novel, and hopefully, not my last. My family consists of my wife, two daughters, a son, and our angel baby, and they are my whole world. As well as the usual chaos of a busy household, we also have an entire menagerie of animals, including ferrets, snakes, spiders, and even pygmy goats!
