M.R. Osborne is an author and academic known for his work on Christian mysticism and Western esotericism. His books explore subjects as diverse as ecclesiology, serpent symbolism, the occult, and the conflict between ancient magic and the early Church. He has also written on the metaphysical connections in William Blake's art and the implications of quantum mechanics for understanding hauntings. Osborne is best known for collaborating with Rose Circle Books’ series of Élus Coëns manuscripts from the eighteenth century. These include English editions of The Treatise on the Reintegration of Beings by Martinez de Pasqually and Pierre Founié‘s What We Have Been, What We Are, And What We Will Become. Osborne participates as a lecturer and guest speaker on online platforms. He runs a blog on his author website and has written for Watkins’s Mind, Body & Spirit Magazine. In 2018, he received the SRIA’s Companion of Christian Rosenkreutz Award for his research on The Lessons of Lyons.
