She has written many things including six rhythmic picture books, magazine articles, essays, and poetry. Her publishers are Macmillan, Simon and Schuster, Houghton Mifflin, and Marshall Cavendish (Two Lions). Margaret graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.A. in Public Relations and Marketing and a M.A. in Education. She is married to her best friend, Mark. She has two kids and a house full of dogs. She loves working with those dogs in Water Work, Tracking, Agility, Rally and Obedience. Some of her favorite things are thunderstorms, music, making playlists for things she's working on, staying up late writing, and Pinterest. Two of her favorite places to go are Disneyland and Starbucks. She doesn't like saying goodbye to her friends or waking up early. Dogs bring her happiness. Books bring her joy. She wants people who pick up her books to find the same.
