Mark Beal is an assistant professor of practice, communication, in the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information in New Brunswick, New Jersey after serving as a public relations practitioner and marketer for three decades. It was Mark's students who inspired him to author his first book, 101 Lessons They Never Taught You In College, which was published in 2017 and his second book, 101 Lessons They Never Taught You In High School About Going To College, which was published in 2018. One of the world's leading Generation Z (Gen Z) experts, Mark has authored four books on Gen Z including Decoding Gen Z; Engaging Gen Z; Gen Z Graduates To College; and ZEO: Introducing Gen Z, The New Generation Of Leaders. Mark's Gen Z books have led him to be invited to deliver Gen Z keynote speeches and interactive workshops to leading corporations, brands, conferences, trade industry assocations, universities and professional sports leagues.
