Mary Kassian is an award winning author and speaker. For many years, she was distinguished professor of Women's Studies at Southern Baptist Seminary. Mary graduated from the faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Alberta, Canada and studied systematic theology at the doctoral level. She has taught courses at seminaries across North America, and is a popular conference speaker to women's groups internationally. Mary has appeared on numerous radio and television shows, including Focus on the Family, Family Life Today, Revive Our Hearts, and Marriage Uncensored. Mary and her husband love hiking and biking in the spectacular Canadian Rockies, spending long winter nights in front of a crackling fireplace, and escaping the snow from time-to-time to dive, snorkel and paddleboard in the sun. Naturally, they love spoiling their adorable grandkids . . . and their black lab too. Mary also loves demo day! . . . tearing down walls, ripping up floors, trying her hand at electrical and plumbing, building stuff, refinishing furniture. She knows her way around a hardware store and is happy as a lark when she has a power tool in her hand.
