Masha Rumer is the author of Parenting with an Accent: How Immigrants Honor Their Heritage, Navigate Setbacks, and Chart New Paths for Their Children (Beacon Press), winner of the 2023 Sarton Women's Book Award for Nonfiction. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Parents, The Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, and Literary Hub, winning awards from the New York Press Association. She was born in the former Soviet Union and now lives in California with her family and a hamster. She is represented by the Robin Straus Literary Agency.
