Matt Mason is the Nebraska State Poet and winner of a Pushcart Prize, 2 Nebraska Book Awards, and fellowships from the Academy of American Poets and the Nebraska Arts Council. His work has appeared in The New York Times and hundreds of other publications. He has run poetry programs for the State Department in Nepal, Romania, Botswana and Belarus and served as Executive Director of the Nebraska Writers Collective from 2009-2022. Mason's 4th book; At the Corner of Fantasy and Main: Disneyland, Midlife and Churros; is now available from The Old Mill Press. His other books are Things We Don’t Know We Don’t Know (The Backwaters Press, 2006), The Baby That Ate Cincinnati (Stephen F. Austin University Press, 2013) and I Have a Poem the Size of the Moon (Stephen F. Austin University Press, 2020).
