Dr. Melissa Weathersby is a native of San Antonio, Texas. Growing up on an Air Force Base, she has always enjoyed reading and writing. Her professional career has encompassed management, entrepreneurship, real estate, and adult education. Her passion is teaching, motivating, and inspiring people to become the person God intended them to be. She earned her BBA and MBA in Business Management and her Ed.D. in Education with a specialization in Higher Education and Adult Learning. Her published dissertation focused on the need for financial literacy in higher education and has been downloaded in 18 countries since publication. Melissa is also an avid equestrian. She enjoys spending time with her Quarter Horse and her energetic Jack Russell Terrier.
