Micah Swanson Harris is an award-winning author whose work has been published in the United States, France, and Italy. He most recently published King Kong - the Evolving Narrative - the Annotated Novelization. Besides nearly 200 footnotes, Harris wrote a 100 page+ introductory essay on the writing of King Kong, tracing the story's development over five script drafts and a fragment through the 1933 movie and Lovelace's uniquely influential book version. With comics artist Michael Gaydos (Marvel's Jessica Jones) he created the graphic novel Heaven’s War. His prose fiction Ravenwood, the Stepson of Mystery: Return of the Dugpa won the Pulp Ark Award for best novel of 2016. His Chronicles of Aarastad series includes the Agents of the Rune Stone Ring Trilogy (The World Queen Awakens, The Dark Lord Lurking, and Royals, Rogues and Dragons Arise!) and the standalone steampunk novella, Incognito. Witty banter, relatable characters, court intrigue, supernatural threats, adventure, and romantic love characterize this epic fantasy set in a small Scandinavian kingdom with a glacier that spans other worlds and times. He is currently at work on the fifth volume in this ongoing historical fantasy series.
