Dr. Michael A. Graham is the author of Cheer Up! The Life and Ministry of Jack Miller and the founder of The Jack Miller Project, which explores the life, ministry, and teaching of C. John “Jack” Miller. A native of Bayou La Batre, Alabama, Mike grew up working in his family’s shrimp business. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1988 with a B.S. in Marketing and International Business, where he also met his wife, Vicki. In 1991, Mike and Vicki first encountered Jack Miller’s teachings through The Sonship Course, a program that deeply shaped their ministry vision. After earning an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2001, Mike pastored Hickory Grove Church (PCA) in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, while involved in missions in India, and Sri Lanka. In 2019, Mike completed a Ph.D. at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where his research further demonstrated Jack Miller’s indirect though extensive influence on today’s grace movement, inspiring the book Cheer Up!. Today, Mike serves as a Teaching Elder at New Life Vicenza in Italy, as he continues to write, teach, and lead The Jack Miller Project.
