Hello, my name is Monica Burch. I am an engineer by degree, with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. My career in engineering began with roles in power engineering and later transitioned into software engineering. Over the past twenty years, I've also been deeply immersed in teaching, a journey that led me to establish my own business, ConstructU. My aim with ConstructU is to unravel the science, math, and engineering behind technology, fostering a love of learning in kids. The greatest reward in my teaching career is witnessing the transformation of students who start my workshops with a mindset of "I can't do it" and evolve to proclaim, " I am doing it proudly." As an author, I've written two delightful children's books and a compelling STEM book. I've also created a Micro-Blessing Book and the "120-Day Micro-Blessing Journal" to accompany it. My dedication to inspirational education was further solidified during my three-year service as a church elder. This experience deepened my commitment to writing Christian Inspirational books, blending my faith with my passion for education and storytelling. My journey from an engineer to an educator and author reflects my commitment to inspiring and empowering the next generation. Whether through storytelling or hands-on STEM education, my goal is to help the child in everyone discover their potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
