Hi, I'm Nick Jackson and if you are reading this, then you are on the right track to optimizing your health and fitness. This is because the things I publish are things that I currently use or have used to optimize my results. Losing weight and getting fit did not come easy for me so I've had to learn how to perfect my diet and workouts. I've spent years studying diets, nutrition, workouts, and supplements. I've applied everything I have learned in my approach to getting results and have learned the best methods through trial and error. You see, I've always been scientifically minded. When I was a child, I used to tell my parents I wanted to be a scientist and I didn't stray far from that childhood dream. I graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology and then went on to pharmacy school where I graduated with summa cum laude obtaining my doctorate. I've used my ability to excel in the sciences to understand the body and achieve the results I've always wanted. I've done the research (studying diets, nutrition, and sports programming) and put in the sweat equity. Another thing about me is that I've always been competitive. I love learning new things and I am super interested in gymnastics, parkour, calisthenics, and martial arts. In fact, I have studied martial arts for over 15 years. During this time, I have achieved sankyu rank in judo and won numerous martial arts contests. Specifically, I have been a Virginia State Heavy Weight Judo Champion and Tennessee State MMA Middle Weight Champion. I have trained both amateur and professional fighters as a coach for team FAST in Virginia. While doing so, I have helped them perfect their diets and workouts. I am passionate about the things I write about. I utilize the things I teach and I strive to help others get the results they are looking for. My hope is that the books I put out will inspire and help others achieve their fitness goals. Best Wishes, Nick
