Just so you'll know, it is the fifth of many awards. Nina Norstrom grew up as a Daddy’s Girl and embracing family went a long way. When talking about her birthplace, people refer to it as The Windy City. She didn't grow up in the city but was raised as a suburbanite, bonded by Christian values. Norstrom is a renowned speaker and coach on healthy lifestyles. As an educational leader, she participates in Employees’ Health and Wellness Fairs and conducts a workshop titled Managing Toxicity, presented to prison inmates at the (Georgia) Transitional Centers Indeed, she had hardships, struggles, and challenges. Over four decades, she experienced a mass of tainted relationships . . . becoming incarcerated by the clutches of toxicity. Her life of living with tainted and damaging relations weighted heavily through her journey. She says to her audience, “When I think about the topic of my storybook, Not a Blueprint . . ., I think about the importance of it. It’s all crystal clear: An everyday experience brings about important life lessons. We’re living inside the topic each day we inhale anew breathe. In these days and times, we are held hostage inside our own toxic environment. A world controlled by the venom that cripples our circle of survival."
