I grew up in Plainview, New York and I got the hell out of there as soon as i possibly could. The World Wide Web came into being when I was at the end of my college career; I taught myself HTML and quickly parlayed that skill to my first job working for the CBS Sports website in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I loved the job, but i wasn't fond of Florida, so I headed back to New York, working for TD Ameritrade (known then as TD Waterhouse) for several years. After seven years in IT, I worked as a public school teacher of mathematics for ten years. I thought maybe I could make a difference in the lives of young people, but as it turned out, it was a less-than-ideal career for me. Soon after leaving the teaching profession I was back in IT where I have been for the last eight years. I now live in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area working for my company in a Full-Time remote capacity, which I started doing about ten months before the start of COVID. A friend once referred to me as a "Quick-witted, ball-busting Jew with a vocabulary." Although in recent years I've come to regard myself as "Hebrew" rather than "Jewish," given my refusal to follow outdated religious rules, it did sound like an apt author description for me, so I'll go with it. In real life, Besides working in IT and writing books, I am pursuing a PhD that I won't complete until I'm close to 56, and I'm married to a brilliant neuroscientist with one child. Writing is a passion for me, but presents an interesting conundrum: what I write is geared toward a younger audience that prefers video and audio formats, mediums in which I am not necessarily comfortable providing content. But that's why I hired a narrator - you will soon be able to buy my books on audio - Volume I is already out, and I anticipate Volume II will be completed and available by April 8th, What I write will always be vulgar, so if that's not your thing, let me dissuade you from purchasing anything from me. But if you enjoy lots of swearing, metaphor, alliteration, and crude humor - once this thing starts making money, I'll donate half the proceeds to charity. So pick up a copy and enjoy it!
