Whether a book or as a screenplay, O’neil Sharma loves nothing more than telling stories and getting inside the puzzle that is the mind of his creations. Born in London, O’neil started out in banking but decided to change tack and head to film school. He was awarded a scholarship to attend the London Film Academy. In 2018 he shot his first feature film: Fotoautomat Man, which will enter the festival circuit for 2020 with a premier at the Tokyo Lift Off Festival and is currently available on Amazon Prime UK and USA. His screenplay The Big B will be produced by Berlin Bombay International and will be his second feature as a director. Get Lucky (co-written with Ziska Riemann and directed by her), released in September 2019. He also co-wrote Endless (directed by Scott Speer) which was released in 2020. Recently, he has been commissioned by Life and Soul Pictures to write a screenplay “Rites of Passage”; a true story about how cricket has helped refugees integrate into Germany. Shooting is planned for late 2021. He has published three books: The White House, The Good Life and Son of Man
