I live on California's Central Coast with my husband, Mike, and our lovable rescue dogs, Emma and Maggie. We’re proud parents of two grown sons and grandparents to five amazing grandkids—four boys and one girl. Mike and I have owned two Alaskan-themed restaurants since 1988—Klondike Pizza—inspired by our years living in Alaska. One of the most rewarding aspects of being in the family restaurant business is the opportunity it gives us to support our community. Over the years, we’ve raised funds for schools, youth sports, animal shelters, farm sanctuaries, and other meaningful causes. Our favorite Farm Sanctuary, Greener Pastures, recently released a children’s book about one of their beloved rescues, Dinkey—the most lovable pig you’ll ever meet! "Dinkey: The True Story of How Kindness Saved a Little Pig." Our three-year-old grandson absolutely adores the book, and it's available on Amazon! I love writing "The Murder Blog Mysteries," and the first book, "Dead Girls Don't Blog," is loosely based on a real-life experience of mine.
