Peggy van Hulsteyn, who has practiced yoga for over 40 years, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 12 years ago. She has since become a Parkinson's advocate and writes extensively on this subject. Her feature article describing how yoga can benefit people with Parkinson's was presented in both the American and Chinese versions of Yoga Journal. She has written for Mademoiselle, Cosmopolitan, Modern Bride, Country Living, Cat Fancy, New Mexico Magazine, American Way (American Airlines in-flight magazine), and newspapers such as The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Miami Herald, The Kansas City Star, The Chicago Tribune, The San Francisco Examiner, and USA Today.
