RJ Heckman, Ph.D., Vice Chairman at Korn Ferry, has worked in the talent management consulting, and leadership development fields for 25 years. He consults with many of Korn Ferry’s 7,000 clients, representing a large number of the world’s top organizations. He has worked as an internal HR leader for two Fortune 50 companies, as CEO of a global leadership advisory firm, and served as a consultant to boards, CEOs, and CHROs of more than 100 Global 1000 companies. A published author and sought-after speaker, Heckman is a frequent presenter at both professional and academic venues such as the Harvard Business School, INSEAD, New York University, the Human Resources Planning Society, HR Technology Conference, and the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology. Heckman’s thought leadership has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, HR Executive Magazine, Chief Learning Officer Magazine, and Human Resource Management Review, among others. Heckman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, and completed his graduate studies with a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Tulsa. He has lived and worked in New York, Boston, and Tokyo, and currently resides in Minneapolis with his wife and two children.
