Rebecca Anderton-Davies is an investment banker, yoga practitioner and sometimes teacher, author, community builder, and mother of two young sons, based in London. She is 16+ years into a successful career as a banker, first as a currency sales-trader, then as a senior relationship manager, and most recently as head of EMEA for a new business within her firm. In her latest book - Shifting the Dials - Rebecca shares the framework that has allowed her to find fulfilment from the various and varied component parts of her life. It is a call to bin the toxic mental model that is work-life balance and an offer of what to replace it with, her new model - The Dials. She shares perspectives on many too rarely talked about topics in the world of careers and life such as career fulfilment, finding impact, money, quitting, and the trades we all make as we walk through the wild journey we call life. Rebecca was knocked off her bike cycling to work in her late twenties. To help heal from her injuries, she took up yoga. She began sharing her slow and challenging journey to a solid yoga practice on Instagram shortly thereafter, as well as her experience of furthering her career, dealing with various health challenges, and becoming a mother. She has built two Instagram communities with a follower count of nearly 300k: her personal account where she shares her unique combination of career, family life, and her yoga self practice, and her yoga community account. She published her first book - The Book of Yoga Self Practice - with Yellow Kite in 2020, after self-publishing it in 2019.
