Rebecca Chace is the author of the upcoming middle-grade children's book, June Sparrow and the Million Dollar Penny (May, 2017); In literary fiction: Leaving Rock Harbor, a New York Times, "Editors Choice" and New England Book Award Finalist; Capture the Flag, which Chace adapted into a short film with director, Lisanne Skyler. The film was awarded the Showtime Tony Cox Best Screenplay short film award at the Nantucket Film Festival (2010). Her memoir, Chautauqua Summer, was a New York Times Notable Book. Chace is also the author of several plays, has contributed to The New York Times Magazine and The New York Times Book Review, among other publications. She teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and lives in Brooklyn.
