I have always written fictional stories as a way to help myself in any situation, I would write alternate endings, dream outcomes and fully invest in the desirable happy ever after to help me through difficult times. When I realised I was no longer writing about my current traumatic experiences, and was in fact living one of the scenarios I had written for myself, I realised I had helped myself through a lot of painful situations…how could I turn that into something someone else like me, could use to help them too? My debut book Once Upon A Real Life, helps readers write their own life as a novel so that they can see the battles they have already fought, understand their weakness and strengths to better overcome future obstacles and defeat any upcoming villains they may encounter
