Rebecca Wescott lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, five cats, and a daughter that visits occasionally. Her obsession with mushroom hunting, photographing, and identifying plants and fungi began as a child and continues to grow. She has worked in education, behavioral health, drug addiction and recovery, and marketing. She now works as a freelance copywriter and researcher for heavy industry, especially welding and metalworking. In her free time, Rebecca reads lots of nonfiction, with a preference for biology and especially weird medical stuff. She loves to tell stories and relate her escapades in mushroom hunting and other outdoor antics. Between falling into lakes and chasing bears out of the garbage dumpster, rural living offers plenty of material for spinning tales and sharing knowledge.
