Richard Jacobs specializes in helping attorneys break free from 70-hour work weeks and marginal law practices. Through his work at Speakeasy Marketing, Inc, he has helped over 1,000 attorneys nationwide transform their lives, bank accounts, and law practices into successful, revenue producing businesses. Starting in 2009 with the growth of myDUIattorney.org from scratch into a nationwide advertiser for DUI attorneys, Richard works with solos and small law firms in 17 different practice areas (including Family Law, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Immigration and more) to learn, implement, and profit from sound marketing that law school dares not teach. Richard is the author of the books: • “But I Only Had 2 Beers!” (Truth talk from over 25 DUI lawyers) • Secrets of Attorney Marketing Law School Dares Not Teach (1st, 2nd & 3rd Editions) • The Attorney Authority Reboot • The 12 Powerful Principles of Prosperous Law Practices • The Virtual Closing System (Closing Potentials When You CAN’T Get-‘em-In-The-Office Or They Won’t Come) • The Attorney Authority Snowball (Why Most Lawyers Are Invisible To Affluent Clients) • The Ultimate Guide to Local Business Marketing by Perry Marshall (Richard Jacobs contributing author) Richard has spoken about Attorney Marketing at: • NACDL Las Vegas DUI Conference • PILMMA (Personal Injury Lawyers Marketing & Management Association) • DUIDLA Arizona Conference • Perry Marshall & Associates Small Business Marketing Conference • Local Lawyer Meetup Groups in Dallas, Long Island, NY, Milwaukee, and Los Angeles) Richard Jacobs, Host of The Finding Genius Podcast In October 2016, Richard started the Future Tech Podcast, which has now become the Finding Genius Podcast – the goal was to learn about ‘round-the-corner’ new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, 3D printing, stem cells, regenerative medicine, Bitcoin and blockchain, and more. Due to a major health crisis in 2017, Richard decided to focus more on health, medicine and bioscience issues that affect all of us as human beings. In the middle of 2019, Richard realized that what he was actually doing (and had been doing for 15+ years) was seeking out the best of the best in any given field – the 1 in 1,000 genius practitioner in their field – and interviewing them to learn everything he could. Richard calls this: “Finding Geniuses” and it has since become the new name for this podcast.
