This book recalls the ships he sailed and the characters he worked with for over 40 years on some of the world's most beautiful, busiest and most challenging waters. Born in Greenock, amongst the many famous ships he captained were the Hebridean Princess, TS Queen Mary, PS Waverley, PS Jeanie Deans, MV Maid of Argyll, MV Caledonian Isles.
