As the founder of What Celebs, an entertainment and marketing company combined with celebrity charitable giving, Rose built sales and profits through events and online social platforms. She also curated celebrities and merchandise for charitable giving events, which contributed to the company's success. In her role as COO of Blackwave Group, a multi-portfolio management company providing top-quality services spanning entertainment, sports, marketing, online media, and business-to-business consulting, Rose created the business model for Blackwave to gain partnerships and investors. She expanded the business model to include sports agents and their clients, and managed the marketing department to increase celebrity exposure. Rose also managed Mall Breaks, an OOH branded content division, and Blackwavetv, a social network for NBA, NFL, artists, and actors/actresses such as Janet Jackson, Erika Campbell (Sister Sister), Ray J, Allan Houston, Snow, and Antonio Freeman. As the CEO of Salem & Salem Consulting, INC., a certified Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (MWBE) company delivering information technology staffing solutions to Fortune 500 companies and New York State agencies, Rose provided all sales and account management. She created a meticulous recruiting process for all applicants and grew the company's revenues to $4.5M within three years. Rose also developed, implemented, and managed St. John University's JAVA and JAVA script curriculum for teachers, became the preferred IT vendor for Citigroup, and was awarded a $2.5 million Peoplesoft Contract with New York State.
