Ruth Badley graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 1978 and taught in secondary schools in London before moving to South Australia, where she worked in adult migrant education, specifically with Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees. Later she pursued a successful second career as a journalist and was the arts and food writer for Ackrill Newspapers in North Yorkshire for many years. She currently runs her own public relations and freelance writing consultancy for clients in the geospatial industry. Ruth wrote and directed Just Playing for Dubai’s Short and Sweet Theatre Festival in 2016. Where Are The Grown-Ups? is her first full length work.
