Salma Adi is a Visual Artist, Author, and Art Teacher based in Bournemouth, UK. She’s passionate about creating art and creating a better life to live. Since art has had a significant influence on her life, her mission has been to help people understand how creating art can transform their lives and how they perceive their world. Therefore, she founded WE CAN, which is an intellectual and expressional movement aims to help people to engage more with art and inspiring them to enrich their lives through creating. Salma started her art journey as a self-taught creator and never stopped honing her skills and exploring new tools for her expression. Later in her journey, she studied The Science of Drawing with the artist, Brent Eviston. Thereafter, her obsession with the healing power of art led her to gain a Diploma in Art Therapy from Oxford. Art helps Salma evoke conceptuality and form a precise incarnation of complex states that she experiences in her life's journey. Therefore, her art teaching focuses on assisting her students to perceive their art as they perceive the world within and around themselves. She always encourages them to create what it feels true to them and expresses their authenticity. Out of her Graphite, Charcoal and Oil Painting realm, Salma likes sculpting, writing poems, running, camping and just be out in the nature. She also has interests in Biopsychology, Sacred Geometry, and Alchemy, which have enabled her to explore the depth of her being and better understand herself.
