Sherrie Flick is the author of the novel Reconsidering Happiness (Bison Books), the story collection Thank Your Lucky Stars (Autumn House), and the short (short) story collection Whiskey, Etc. (Autumn House), a Foreword INDIES bronze winner for 2016 Best Book of the Year in Short Stories and an Entropy best fiction book of the year. University of Nebraska Press published her debut essay collection, Homing: Instincts of a Rustbelt Feminist in September 2024. Her third story collection, I Have Not Considered Consequences, is forthcoming from Autumn House Press in April 2025. She is a senior editor at SmokeLong Quarterly, served as series editor for The Best Small Fictions 2018 (with Aimee Bender) (Braddock Avenue Books), and is co-editor of Flash Fiction America (with James Thomas and John Dufresne) (W. W. Norton).
