Shirley McCann is an award-winning author of Mystery/Suspense novels as well as short stories. The Scarry Inn, the first in a series of six books, won a Readers' Favorite Award in 2020. The Coffin, The Scarry Inn Book 2, was a Runner Up in the Raven Awards, as well as an honorable mention in the Readers' Favorite Awards. Her short stories have appeared in Woman's World, Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, The Forensic Examiner, and numerous other fiction publications. She lives in Springfield, Missouri where she loves spending time with her two children and grandchildren. She is a founding member of Sleuths' Ink Mystery Writers.
