Dr. Tamás Dávid-Barrett is an evolutionary behavioural scientist at the University of Oxford, bridging the social and biological sciences. He has conducted research in over forty countries across five continents. His groundbreaking book, Gendered Species: A Natural History of Patriarchy, offers a comprehensive scientific approach to gender norms. Dr. Dávid-Barrett is a lecturer at Trinity College, Oxford, and is affiliated with the Väestöliitto Population Studies Institute in Helsinki and the École des Ponts Business School in Paris. He previously served as a Professor at UDD in Santiago de Chile and a Senior Visiting Researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. A widely published scientist, he has delivered over three thousand talks and lectures worldwide. He is a fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute and the former founder and CEO of a boutique firm specialized in developing countries. Dr. Dávid-Barrett was educated in Oxford, Cambridge, London, and Budapest.
