Her second book, "The Remarriage Manual" is based on interviews of 100 couples and her own experience and was the winner of "The Best Book Award" for Self-help Relationships in 2020 and the winner of the 2022 Independent Publisher's Book Award in Gold for Self-help. Two of Terry’s research studies on the long-term impact of parental divorce were published in the Journal of Divorce and Remarriage. Her book "Daughters of Divorce" is based on her third study of 326 daughters of divorce. It can help readers recognize and overcome unique emotional issues that parental divorce creates so they can build the happy, long-lasting relationships they deserve. Terry's book "The Remarriage Manual" explains that love can be sweeter the second time around if couples have realistic expectations and ditch emotional baggage from their first marriage.
