Its pages take us, at once, on a remarkable true adventure and into the heart and mind of a most extraordinary individual. A beautifully written and inspiring tale, and a reminder to us all about what really matters.” –ROBERT KURSON, New York Times bestselling author of Crashing Through, Shadow Divers, and Pirate Hunters “Unblinded tells a remarkable story of sudden blindness, new vision, and sight regained. It offers great insight into the nature of reality—that which we perceive and that which we create for ourselves.” –ISAAC LIDSKY, New York Times bestselling author of Eyes Wide Open UNSHELTERED LOVE: Homelessness, Hunger and Hope in a City under Siege by Traci Medford-Rosow Unsheltered Love is a Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Amazon and Barnes & Noble bestseller. A story about hope and how every one of us can make a difference. Unsheltered Love is a first-hand reported account of how the pandemic greatly exacerbated an already dire homelessness situation in New York City. In March 2020, the usually crowded streets of Midtown Manhattan were empty, stores were closing, people were afraid to go out. But homeless people were still on the streets, cold and very hungry, and much less able to panhandle in the deserted city. Unable to ignore their suffering, the author and her husband started walking the empty streets in their neighborhood, handing out food to the men and women they met. As they showed up, trust replaced the fear and suspicion that had existed within them, as well as within the homeless people they befriended. They listened as the homeless revealed their daily struggles living on the streets, as well as the details that had led to their homelessness. Unsheltered Love also provides an in depth look at one of the ten characters in the story—a homeless woman named Maggie Wright who adds her perspective to the narrative. Following each chapter is a journal entry written by Maggie—her viewpoint of the same events in the story, as well as an inside look at her personal journey into homelessness and her rise out of it. Her entries provide a look into the psychology of homelessness, what can lead a person to this fate, and more importantly, bind them to it. 100% of author proceeds are donated to Hand in Hand of Glynn, (www.handinhandofglynn.org), a nonprofit organization in Georgia dedicated to building tiny homes for the unsheltered. PRAISE FOR UNSHELTERED LOVE “With a pandemic raging, our nation's cities under siege and residents sheltered in place, Traci Medford-Rosow and her husband, Joel, see what no one else was looking for—homeless men and women--and take a leap of faith to show the unsheltered love. Daily walks in their neighborhood led them to become involved with new friends that most in their city shunned and even feared. Traci became especially close to a battered and abused homeless woman named Maggie while Joel dreamed of a city where no one goes hungry or sleeps on the streets. Handing out homemade sandwiches to strangers, they did not look away from distress. While nobody can help everybody, they proved that everybody can help somebody. As you turn the pages of this well-written and hopeful story, keep an open mind and eyes for ways to make a difference. Unsheltered Love is worthy of your time.” --Ron Hall, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Same Kind of Different as Me, Workin’ Our Way Home and What Difference do it Make? INFLECTION POINT: War and Sacrifice in Corporate America by Traci Medford-Rosow An Amazon #1 Bestseller A true story that reads like a suspense thriller, Inflection Point by Traci Medford-Rosow provides not only an insider’s look into the massive pharmaceutical industry, but an emotionally charged story of personal conflicts, defeats and victories. Medford-Rosow spent ten years of her life in an epic battle to protect the patent rights of a corporate giant, Pfizer; a battle that opened old wounds and challenged her beliefs of right from wrong. The underlying stories, the sub-plots in Inflection Point are intricately woven into the primary back-room and court battles that keep the reader involved and turning the pages. There is insight into the enormous power of the pharmaceutical industry, its predominance over global politics and the lives of millions of people. Here, too, is the story of a woman’s life. Medford-Rosow lets it all out in her first book. You’ll read about her trials, tribulations, victories and defeats on her path to becoming a Vice President and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Pfizer, and the intrigues of legal battles that guarantee a mind-boggling experience. PRAISE FOR INFLECTION POINT An incredible memoir that is an inherently fascinating read, "Inflection Point" provides a rare insider's look at an aspect of the pharmaceutical industry that is seldom revealed to the public. Exceptionally well written, organized and presented, "Inflection Point" deserves as wide a readership as possible as the issues of public health and the role played by 'big pharmacy' is under increasing controversy and political scrutiny. Simply stated, "Inflection Point" needs to be a part of every community and academic library collection for the benefit of non-specialist general readers and academia alike. —Midwest Book Review
