Tracy Gardner is a multi award-winning author who also writes women's fiction as Jess Sinclair. Gardner's new five-book cozy mystery series features three sleuthing sisters solving murders in their close-knit Lake Michigan town. The author's mystery novel Ruby Red Herring was a Mary Higgins Clark Edgar Award finalist and a New York Public Library Best 100 Book. Her most recent novel writing as Sinclair, What We Could Have Been, is the 2024 Storytrade Women's Fiction winner, the USA Regional Southeast Fiction winner, and was acknowledged as a Reader's Choice Book Award Finalist. A Detroit native and mother of three, Gardner is a daughter of two teachers who works as a nurse when not writing. She splits her time between Michigan and Florida's gulf coast, and lives with her husband and a menagerie of spoiled rescue dogs and cats. She is a strong believer in women saving themselves, often with help from ride-or-die besties and plenty of chocolate.
