Valerie Rivers writes books with her sister, Stephanie Combs. Together they are a dynamic duo, who share an enthusiasm for writing and storytelling. Valerie resides in sunny South Florida with her pilot husband and three children. Having grown up abroad and been exposed to other cultures and languages from an early age, Valerie developed a love for languages and has studied German, French, Spanish, and Hebrew. She brings a fresh perspective to the fantasy genre, drawing from her varied experiences as a private jet flight attendant, artist, intensive care nurse, and more odd jobs than she’d care to admit. In her free time, she’s writing, crafting new book covers and character art, and advancing her nursing degree online. Whether she's lost in her latest art project or in the darkest corners of her imagination, Valerie’s creativity knows no bounds as she weaves fantasy worlds and narratives that transport readers to realms of magic and wonder.
