As a child, Vica Maya was always picking up on the emotions of those around her and felt overwhelmed by the intensity of the energy she was absorbing. It wasn't until she discovered she was an empath that she realized there were others like her who shared this unique ability. For Vica, understanding her intuitive gifts has been a winding path of self-discovery, trial and error, and, ultimately, empowerment. This eye-opening journey led her to write about her experiences to help other sensitives understand and embrace their gifts. With her warmth, compassion, and occasional humor, Vica provides a relatable resource for those ready to live a healthy and balanced life while navigating the challenges of being highly sensitive. Vica lives in lovely Vancouver, Canada, with her husband, two young children, and their rescue cats. When she's not writing or scrubbing fossilized spaghetti off the floor after her kids, she enjoys exploring photography or curling up with a good book (preferably one with a bit of magic in it).
