Vince Thompson is an American success story. From humble Lower Alabama roots he attended Auburn University to pursue his dream of becoming a sportswriter. A chance encounter with Auburn's Sports Publicity Director lead him to building MELT (www.meltatl.com) one of America's most successful sports marketing and branding agencies. This includes MELT representing some of the top brands in the world such as The Coca-Cola Company for more than 20 years. "Build Brand YoU" features insights he has gleaned during his award-winning career and is a book devoted to sharing his advice on how to build your personal brand to land and secure an internship or entry-level job during this brutal covid job market. Tips such as passing the "Grandma" test on posting to your social media pages, how to use his Inverted Pyramid Process (IPP) to design your resume, to creating a Linkedin Page that gets noticed, to "Bringing the Heat" in a live or virtual interview. During his career Vince and MELT have won more than 40 sports, event and marketing industry awards including Chief Marketer's Top 200 Agencies, Event Marketer's IT List of Top 100 Agencies, Biz Bash Top 500 Event Producer's in North America, Sport's Business Journal's Power Players, Atlanta's Most Admired CEO, Atlanta Magazine's Power 500 Players and ADA Father of The Year in 2015.
