Warren Garling was born in Schenectady, NY on July 25, 1952. If you send him a birthday card, include money. Warren has spent most of his life trying to make people smile. He found he could make more people smile at the same time through broadcasting on radio and television, so he has spent some 50 years in that pursuit. His first book, “I’ll Have to Ask my Mom” is a memoir of his journey into radio as a teenager, and his 17 years as a full-time air personality. He and his wife of more than 40 years live a quiet, retired existence in their family room and adjoining outdoor patio.
