New York Times bestselling author Ian Douglas is, in reality, mild-mannered former Navy hospital corpsman William H. Keith. Forty years ago, he began working in the RPG industry, first as an artist and then as a writer. His work since then has encompassed geopolitical techno-thrillers, young adult fiction, alternative military history, military science fiction, detective science fiction, horror, and fantasy. As the author of almost 200 titles, including games and game modules, short stories, non-fiction, and over 100 novels, he occasionally lifts his nose from the grindstone long enough to attend SF cons and Mensa gatherings, hike in his beloved Laurel Mountains, feed the koi, and pet the cats. William K. Keith writes under his own name and the pseudonym of Ian Douglas. Previous works have been published as Bill Keith, H. Jay Riker, Keith Douglass, Robert Cain, and Keith William Andrews.
