Her short story collections have been published in Bulgaria, USA: „Somebody Else” MAG Press 2004 г., nominated for Pushcart Prize 2005., “Good Figure, Beautiful Voice” Astemari Press 2008, , her novel “God of Traitors” was published by Books for a Buck Publishing, 2007, “Carts and Other stories”, Mobite Press, 2012; in UK: ”Bitter Sky” Skrev Press 2005, “Miss Daniella” , Skrev Press 2009, in Canada and Israel: “Pale and Other Postmodern Bulgarian Stories”, Vox Humana, 2010 г., in the Netherlands: „Bloot van aen Moele”, Ernst Cline Publishing, 2008. Her short story “C’est ton tour” was one of the ten award winning stories in the world short story competition “Utopia 2005 – Dis auteurs du monde entier” Nantes, France. Her short story “Vassil” was one of the ten award winning stories in Radio BBC World Short Story Competition 2005. In Bulgaria Zdravka Evtimova won twice ZLATEN LANEZ national short story award (2006, 2010), STARSHEL short story award, ANNA KAMENOVA national fiction writing award, BALKANI award for best short story by a Balkan author, The union of the Bulgarian Writers’ Award for her novel “Thursday” etc.
