À propos de cet audio
The climactic third novel in New York Times best-selling author Jeaniene Frost's Night Prince series finds Vlad and his newly turned bride, Leila, at odds with each other - and vulnerable to the one vampire powerful enough to end the Dark Prince's reign...
Play with fire, pay the price
Leila's years on the carnie circuit were certainly an education. What she didn't learn: how to be a vampire, or how to be married to the most famous vampire of them all. Adjusting to both has Leila teetering on a knife edge between passion and peril, and now the real danger is about to begin...
Vlad must battle with a centuries-old enemy whose reach stretches across continents and whose strength equals his own. It isn't like Vlad to feel fear, but he does... for Leila, because his enemy knows she is Vlad's greatest weakness. As friend and foe alike align against him - and his overprotectiveness drives Leila away - Vlad's love for his new bride could be the very thing that dooms them both...

Disappointed but still loved it.
As always, Tavia Gilbert was phenomenal.
This book, much like the 2nd one, was great. I love Leila and Vlad and I'm looking forward to the final book. The only reason I didn't give 5🌟 this time is this: In the first book, Leila was written as a smart, strong, clever and resourceful woman, but at times in the 2nd and this 3rd book, she starts doubting herself and Vlad's feelings for her, even though he's proven it more than once AND she can feel his emotions. She also doesn't seem as clever as she doesn't make connections like she did in the first, even when it was so bloody obvious.
To sum up, I found myself getting mad and actually yelling out loud at how stupid Leila's thinking was and how she had become that predictable female character who still doubts her partner, makes stupid decisions and draws even stupider, erroneous conclusions that you come across in typical cookie-cutter love stories. I expected better of her after the 1st book.
